Road work over the years
1964 Jess and I took the Jeep to the top of the hill and then cut a rough path to the new Octopus Creek road which borders the property.
West Star had drug logs through the property (without Permission) when the road to Octopus Creek was put in Jess denied them permission to cross the property, hence the road was put in leaving at least a 40 foot buffer zone.
In 1980 we bought a old TD9 bucket crawler and I used it to push a very rough road through the forest to the lake. In my spare time over the years I worked on improving the road, even building a 120 foot crude log bridge
